Thea’s Insight had a check engine light. It also had a check-other-engine light. It went into the shop. There was a problem with the main computer and the battery pack. They said that they replaced both. Total cost: $0. Thea spent two days driving my car and I went back to my Element. I was reminded that I have a lot better vision and power in my truck than my car. With gas back down to $1.60, there’s no reason not to drive it. It’s a ‘more’ thing; power, noise, room, gas consumption, vision, lane hogging. Trade offs. You get the idea. I drive to Kingfisher on Friday. I’ll go back to my Civic for the added comfort. But I’ll probably trade off more often. At least until gas prices go up again.
