Music Group
Nearly every Friday, for years now, Mike and Kim Burcke have had a musical get-together and anyone showing up is for that night a member of Waites and Measures. When possible, (read; asked) Waites and Measures performs at social functions; weddings, churches, retirement homes, libraries, etc. It has been a yearly occurance to have the Waites and Measures Christmas party also. In years gone by, it was a formal or semi-formal affair. A chance to get dressed up and eat some home-cooked mexican food. It came to Kim’s attention this year that mexican food and formalwear don’t really mix well. This year it was casual, but no less festive.

Dinner Group
Our group of Sunday supper friends got together at Anne Roberts’ house for our Christmas dinner. There was dining and whining, banter and gift-giving, piano-playing and ballroom dancing, all in varying mixed degrees.
