I think that I’ve finally got this. It’s taken a few experiments. I invite you to try it. The tricky part was getting the right amount of flour. Like all recipes, the smaller you make the quantities, the more exact you have to be when you measure. I was using the back of a knife to make sure my dry measures weren’t heaped, but level.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp egg
1/8 tsp vanilla
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp chocolate chips (really as much as you want, within reason)
Makes 6 cookies.
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Mix in the chocolate chips.
Bake @ 375°F for 10 minutes.
