Very cool! (Displays just fine in Firefox/Windows).
As an aside, on slideshow/etc.: I’ve tried a dozen or more over the years, and all the methods seem to depend on some uncontrollable outside factor, like a plugin, or Flash, or code hosted on someone else’s server. The one I was happiest with was Flickr’s slideshow code, but they deprecated that last year and it was glitchy for the best of us (and relied on Flash).
I finally gave up and just used standard html to display image files, which works as long as the image file’s online address doesn’t change. It’s not as pretty, but it seems infinitely more reliable. 🙂
From about 1:00 to 3:00 that slideshow was .wmv
From about 3:00 to 4:30 it was .webm
From about 4:30 to 11:00 it was .mp4
For a very short untimed period it was .ogv
After 11:00 I turned it back into the type slideshow I’ve been hosting. For what I’m doing, this type presentation is fine. There still doesn’t appear to be a universal (including mobilely responsive) video format/player for wordpress.
This item does not display in Safari.
I will have to retreat to my previous method of presentation.
