In the absence of football, I turn to watching movies. I don't really get into NBA or college basketball. Sometimes I do the Final Four. Sometimes I follow the NBA Playoffs. Mostly I agree with the commentator who said that there are just too many games for any one game to be relevant. We have enjoyed NetFlix for the past six months. We watch across the internet in instant view and have one movie at a time shipped to us. Anna rents hers from the library and we trade around. This weekend I watched
- Shrek Forever After
- Chaos Theory
- Date Night
Each was a predictable, enjoyable way to relax for an hour and a half. They are what they are; romantic comedies. What can I say. It's the genre I prefer. I indulge myself while Thea goes through a box of tissues beside me. It's all good.
I haven't seen Choas Theory, but my wife and I really enjoyed Date Night. Just silly fun, which we need once in a while.
She's a big Shrek fan but fell asleep halfway through Shrek Forever After. I watched it to the end only so I could tell her what happened. 🙂
