I was pressing my luck getting to my last ‘assignment’. Going to Multnomah Falls and shooting was one of the top five things that I wanted to do. But it had to be sunny out to get good sparkle off the water, and I had to show patience. The Sunday we got there it was sunny, but Monday was overcast. And Tuesday we were caught off-guard by work finding Thea in the Morning. Wednesday we were rained on (We’ll call it rain but it was much more gentle than Oklahoma rains). Thursday was another overcast day. ‘Well, what do we do?’ ‘I guess we could go to the zoo’ ‘OK!’ So I got some zoo pix. Finally on Friday it was bright and sunny. Where we were going it was anyway. You can see from the shot of Mt Hood taken on the top of Larch Mountain that it was half-overcast everywhere else. We did the two waterfalls closest to the road, Multnomah and Wakeenah. The rest of the falls, it was already past three, would have taken an hour hike to and back. Let’s just call it a trip and find some food.
I especially enjoyed the primate images, and the framing on your zebra pic was nice.
Gorgeous imagery in the second slideshow, especially the bridge over the falls… It reminded me I need to get out more. 🙂
