I enjoyed the photos; I haven’t been to such an event in over 20 years (high school). I think my favorite, photographically speaking, was the iron in the fire image.
One thing that struck me in about a third of the images, was the number of participants who didn’t appear to be enjoying themselves. Not that everyone needs to smile and “be happy” all the time, but some seemed to have put in a lot of effort only to be disappointed.
Or maybe I’m reading my current mood onto their expressions. 😉
Maybe you are, but I still agree. It did seem to me at the time that people were agenda oriented. They weren’t there to just enjoy it. Then again, the ever-changing weather may have been putting people a bit more on edge.
