You may remember that my boss, Tom, is a private pilot. He and a couple of his friends decided to fly into the Oshkosh AirVenture Show again. It just happens that Josh, Tom’s son, couldn’t go this year as he had other plans. I jumped at the chance to go with my new S2 and take some pictures. I spent a lot of time with my camera but not so much with anyone else. The air show is so big that once we got past the entrance, I stopped to take some pictures and didn’t see anyone from my goup until it was time to meet back up at the rental.
We had two days of exhibits, swap meets, classes, and airobatic shows. The morning of the first day and the end of the second both were overcast and threatening rain. Neither delivered. Still, I didn’t take my camera out as often as I could have. Although, I did run out of storage on the first day and had to use my backup smartmedia at a lower resolution.
