I have to correct two statements in my last post.
1) Live Tiles is now working. Either my last posting or adding a Gravatar caused it to suddenly start. I may never know which. (Gravatars are a good idea but I have no caricature of myself so I resorted to an online avatar maker. I made one about as silly as I could with the tools at hand.)
2) It turns out you can text an image through Postie. Verizon just sends it through a different server. Plain texts come from vztext.com and multimedia texts come through vzwpix.com. (and may take a while to show up…like hours)
